I’ve been away from Ohio this week, to be in the wedding of a dear friend who I’ve known since junior high school. I’ve had planned for some time to roll this trip into a visit with my sister and her husband, who live in Columbia, SC. It has been a much needed break, a chance to finally get to some reading, to enjoy the sun and to catch up with my sister. I’ve also been taking lots of pictures, and reminding myself just why it is that I love this so much.
I’ll be heading up to Charlotte for wedding festivities this afternoon, and I’ll have more pictures to share when I get back (including some film work). But, for now, here are just a few pictures of my gorgeous sister and her babies–Molly (the pug) and Mops–from a leisurely, early-morning stroll.
