Instagrams! From Cleveland (Lake Erie!), where I couldn’t resist trying Melt. Oddly enough, it was recommended to me by a friend then, as I drove into Cleveland and found their NPR station, they were doing a story on the restaurant and it’s owner! I took it as a sign, and my grilled cheese did not disappoint. Made a quick pit-stop in Columbus on the way back from Cleveland to visit my sister, where we got Jeni’s ice cream (which–you’ve had, right? If not, you must. It is simply the best ever!). We also stopped in Wholly Craft, where the plethora of Ohio-themed art & goodies was just almost too much for me to handle, and where I got Zack this ridiculously wonderful ferret art print.
Also, Wednesday was my birthday! My wonderful man got me this lovely set of vintage drinking glasses (something I’ve been eying for quite sometime!). The last photo is me, circa 199…5? 6? My grandpa brought lots of old photos to our family birthday dinner. Yeah, I totally rocked the bright pink/lime green glasses and braided pigtails.
Tonight, we’ll be watching the Olympic opening ceremony with some friends. I have to admit, I’m a little geekily excited to watch them this summer. Are you into the Olympics, and will you be watching? Whatever your plans, have a happy weekend!
