My dear friend Brenna gave birth to the beautiful baby Zoë just about two weeks ago, and I was so happy to get to photograph her only a few days after she arrived. All babies are beautiful, but–all that hair! Just so darling! (And just like her brother.) Welcome to the world, Zoë!
Abby & Andrew are the kind of couple that love just bursts out of. They are ridiculously cute together (and, isn’t Abby just stunning?). I’m so looking forward to their wedding next spring in North Carolina–it is going to be gorgeous, and I’m so thrilled to get to be the one to tell their story. Oh, and Abby–happy birthday, today! :)
I’m so, so excited to say that Briana Snyder Photography is (finally!) moving into a real, official space of its own! My new office is inside of the Dayton Wedding Connection (but, don’t worry, I’ll still be doing other kinds of photography out of there, too!).
Now, I’ve thus far resisted doing any bridal shows or events–to be perfectly honest, being involved with anything having to do with the “wedding industry” has, in the past, made me sort of…twitchy. As a bride, I rejected any idea that seemed too traditionally “weddingy” in favor of doing it myself (we only hired a photographer, caterer and DJ). And, yes, I loved my wedding but, you know what? It was a whole lot of work. And a lot of work that I didn’t necessarily need, or, in the end, even WANT to be doing myself. There are some things that you just don’t need or desire do yourself, and that you’re perfectly willing to pay to have taken care of for you (this is coming from the girl who paid someone to fill up my tires last week because it was that kind of day and I was just not having it). In those situations, there is nothing better than to have great people you can trust to do fantastic work for you.
That is why I’m excited to be joining an organization that provides lots of different options for brides, all under one roof. You can stroll through and see caterers, bakers, florists, planners, DJs, rental companies–anything you might need for your wedding. If you want even less stress, their conceierge will schedule the appointments for you–you just have to show up! (Because, seriously, having to call and make appointments with dozens of different vendors, who are all open different hours–not the most fun part of wedding planning.)
So, I’m just now getting moved in, but I’ll be sure to let you know when I’m all set up (and, of course, I would love to have you stop by!). I’m just so beyond grateful for all your love and support, and for all the opportunities that have arisen for me and my business. I can’t say thank you enough!
Have a beautiful weekend!

I got to meet sweet, little baby Leif only 3 days after he was born. And what a perfect baby he is! It is so apparent how much of a joy he is to his parents and older brother. Welcome to the world, Leif!
