Besides enjoying beautiful views and mountain-top tourist attractions, we also got to spend vacation hanging out with this little man, hearing all about trucks and snakes and Lightening McQueen.

From our weekend trip to Tennessee: at the top of one mountain (Roan Mountain) and then another (Grandfather Mountain, in North Carolina), where you can cross a bridge a mile high, and where the clouds rolled in (and out) so incredibly fast that we could barely catch them with our cameras.
Engagement photos–with elephants! And iguanas! And penguins! :) I met up with Jamie & Andrew last weekend at the Cincinnati Zoo to capture some photos of their love–love for both each other (which is so apparent when spending any time with them at all) and for animals and nature, which they are incorporating into their wedding planning, too. They are just some of those people that are incredibly fun to be around, and I’ll be so looking forward to their wedding next year.
