Kristy & Justin are hilarious, a gorgeous couple AND some of the kindest people I know, so I’m completely thrilled to be shooting their wedding in May. We met up this week for some engagement portraits around Kristy’s beautiful, historic home in downtown Dayton. Congratulations, you guys–you absolutely rocked it out, and I can’t until the wedding!

I got to pop by for just a bit and meet dear, little Ender at his house a few days ago, and what a sweet and happy baby he is! I was so amazed at how wide-eyed and expressive this guy is for being only about a week old. Just look at those eyes!
The website that I use for client proofing, instaproofs.com, runs a contest for photos to use on their main website. A few weeks ago I entered some photos on a bit of a lark and, whadoyaknow, one was chosen as a winner! How fun! It will be one of the photos in rotation on the company’s main website.
For Christmas, I got Blackbird Fly 35mm TLR camera. It allows you to shoot regular 35mm images, square images, or to expose the image all the way to the edge of the film, including the sprocket holes. I honestly haven’t had the chance to play with it as much as I would like yet, but I have put a couple rolls through, and it is SO fun. Here are a just few of my favorites.
