Can you guess who we’re supposed to be? Unfortunately this was the only wig I could find, so I ended up looking a little more “Marily Monroe” and a little less “Grace Kelly,” but oh well! My hubs makes a pretty great looking Jimmy Stewart, doesn’t he? :)

Though only a senior in high school, Jessica is a wonderful photographer! I’ve had the opportunity to photograph several other photographers lately, including Jessica for her senior pictures. It is a little stressful, but mostly just incredibly humbling, that others who knows the ins-and-outs of photography have trusted me with their portraits!
Besides being a photographer, Jessica (who is from Lima–yeah, I totally Gleeked out) is absolutely gorgeous. She came down to Dayton for her senior pictures, starting at Englewood Metropark then heading downtown. And, like always, you can view the entire session and order prints, if you’d like, here.
Got to include a shout-out to Jessica’s brother Jake, who came along to help carry Jessica’s things, and even posed for a few pictures himself :)

Everything from here on was taken in about one sqaure block in Dayton. It is one of my favorite little corners of the world to photograph in!
I met Kim when she helped to shoot my wedding last year. Since the wedding, we’ve remained in touch and get together regularly to bounce photography ideas off one another and chat about life in general. We decided to meet up at Wegerzyn Garden–which is hosting an awesome Patrick Dougherty stick sculpture–this week to get some much-needed updated portraits of ourselves.
Kim is also moving away here soon–I hope Oregon knows how much of a treat they’re getting, ’cause Ohio is definitely going to miss her. And, be sure to head over to Kim’s website to check out her fantastic work.
I met up with baby Jack and his parents at fabulous Fulton Farms this weekend to get some fall-themed pictures, and in his darling Halloween costume—he made just the CUTEST pumpkin. If you haven’t been to Fulton Farms, I’d definitely recommend it–hay rides, a pumpkin patch, animals, and a kid-sized corn maze, not to mention a wonderful shop full of apples, cider and pumpkins to take home.
